Hi, I'm Tara!

I specialize in teaching pilates and low-impact sculpt classes. For my personal fitness regimen I try to strength train 2-3x per week, do pilates/sculpt 2x per week, and I layer in some cardio on my Peloton. I also try to give myself at least one full rest day. Above all else, I listen to what my body needs.

In June 2020, I founded Move for the Movement — a fundraising workout series that supports organizations rooted in eliminating racial injustice and creating sustainable systemic change. George Floyd's death sparked an unprecedented amount of support against racism and police brutality. I didn't want that support to be short-lived.

As a Black woman, I'm at the core of this evolution. I know that it will take a very long time to upend centuries of racial inequality and in order to make changes, we've got to keep the same energy. We ALL continue to do the work. So I created Move for the Movement to hold my network accountable, to remind them that the work isn't done, and to financially support organizations that are making a real impact.

I felt like this was the best way for me to use my talents to help people reenergize and prioritize their support for Black Lives Matter movement.
